Bring the source.
Upload a book, paper, or document in PDF, EPUB, DOCX, Markdown, HTML, RTF, or text. The processing flow extracts and works through its sections.
Books, with a job to do
Turn the methods you trust into instructions your agent can use: how to ask better questions, weigh a decision, or make a plan.
Books, papers, and documents. One source becomes a skill you can use.
The companion skill
What a skill actually does
A summary helps you understand an idea. A skill adds instructions for applying it: when to use a framework, what to check, and which mistakes to avoid.
Upload a book, paper, or document in PDF, EPUB, DOCX, Markdown, HTML, RTF, or text. The processing flow extracts and works through its sections.
Read the generated book artifact. Its companion skill organizes frameworks, decision rules, examples, and supporting references.
Copy the book and skill into your agent, then describe your task. Or download the package to add it to an agent that supports skill files.
Try it with the public shelf
These examples copy a public book’s editorial digest and a task into your agent. Your own uploaded books produce the fuller downloadable skill package.
A task you can try
Help me prepare a customer interview. First ask about my product and what I need to learn. Use The Mom Test to draft questions about specific past behavior, flag leading questions, and give me a checklist for reviewing the evidence afterward.
Work towardAn interview plan and a way to evaluate what you hear.

Your sources. Your working toolkit.
Each uploaded book gets one place to read, copy, and download. The ZIP keeps the skill and references together, so you can take them into a compatible agent’s workspace.
SKILL.mdBefore you begin
Yes. Copy prompt for your AI gives you a single prompt containing the book artifact, skill, and references. Paste it into your preferred agent and add your task. For reusable installation, download the ZIP and follow your agent’s skill-file setup. Installation is not automatic.
Yes. Send the setup message below to your agent. It installs the skill and checks the public library for you.
books finds books. ask retrieves their methods for your agent to apply. upload turns your sources into private books and skills. status shows their progress.
Public books work without an account or server. Run login to connect your private library through your browser. Choose a private book with ask "your question" --book ID --json, or download its skill with download ID.
Books, research papers, documentation, and notes in PDF, EPUB, DOCX, Markdown, HTML, RTF, or plain text. Sign in, then drop or choose up to ten searchable files, each up to 50 MB. Keep the dialog open until uploading finishes; processing then continues in the background. Each file becomes a separate book and skill. Longer sources are processed in sections, up to six million extracted characters. Follow progress or pause and resume from your processing queue. Your source text is sent to our generation provider; your file and artifacts stay private to your account. Scanned PDFs need OCR first.
The public shelf offers editorial digests with a Copy prompt for your AI prompt. Your own uploaded book produces the fuller skill package, including source-section notes, patterns, a cheatsheet, and a glossary.
Use it as a working aid. Review important claims against the source, and check the output before relying on it. The agent prompt asks for source references, clearly marked inferences, and limits; it does not guarantee accuracy or complete coverage.
